Dr. Michael Quigley gave a talk to the community this evening about the beautiful icon, the Theotokos of Vladimir.

This is one of the most famous of all icons. Legend attributes it to St. Luke himself. Dr. Quigley led us on a "tour" through the icon, pointing out some of its many subtleties.

Dr. Quigley is a frequent visitor to the Abbey. He leads groups of students on field trips to Russia on a regurlar basis to explore the Orthodox tradition. He is in much demand as a speaker and lecturer both on Orthodox Christianity and on business management.
