The community was treated to a talk this evening by Prof. Greg Hillis. He spoke about the "new atheism," which includes such figures as Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens. He pointed out that their version of Christianity is oversimplified and extreme. They create a parody of Christianity and then knock it down, a fairly easy task.

Professer Hillis is an assistant professor of theology at Bellarmine College in Louisville, with an interest in patristics. He is currently working on a book about the pneumatology of Cyril of Alexandria.
