We are very sorry to bid farewell to our Vietnamese brothers who have been with us for the past two years.

Br. Peter Khanh, on the left, and Br. Ephrem have been a great asset to our community, not just through their generous help, but through their good humour and example.

They will be going first to our abbey at Ava, which is host currently to some Vietnamese brothers from their home abbey.

They arrived in September of 2012, along with Br. John of God, pictured here in the centre, who was not able to stay.

Their home is the abbey of Our Lady of Thien Phuoc (which means "Grace") which is a member of our sister order, the Order of Cistercians (O. Cist.).  It is located on the south-east coast of Vietnam, right on the ocean.

We wish them all the best in their future monastic life, and hope that they drop back to see us sometime.
