3 - 16 January, 2019 - In pictures: Visit to Matútum, Philippines

After hearing of last year's course at Vitorchiano on Isaac of Stella, the sisters at Our Lady of Mt. Matútum requested that Dom Elias present a similar course for their community in the Philippines. After nearly 24 hours of travel to get there, he visited the rather remote Matútum Jan. 3 through 16.

On Jan. 20, a few days after his return to Gethsemani, the abbot shared details of the visit during his weekly chapter talk.

He also shared a slideshow of the trip, with many of the photos taken by the Trappistine nuns there. Below is a selection of images from the presentation.
