On the 27th of August, the newly renovated South Wing was officially blessed by the abbot and declared finally finished and ready for occupation.

The old South Wing is fondly remembered by some. The rooms were almost exactly the same as the rooms in which the monks live. However, the wing had become worn and outdated. The renovation began more than a year ago. The new rooms are much larger and all have ensuite bathrooms with showers.

We hope that the retreatants who use these rooms will find the peace and grace they are seeking when they come here on retreat from the world.
